Brown cotton cape + linen brown self tie skirt
Hi Huns...
Cape crusader to the rescue...I know....How corny is that!...Or have i been watching too many comic films...Hmm
This cape has been laying in wait for a very looooong time...It's official...it's out and having it's glory...Right here, right now...The question is....I hear you ask...Why did it take you sooo long?
Here's the thing...I wasn't too sure about the cape to start off with....Although yes!...it was made out of love...like all my other memades...But i made this one with no intention other than to not waste any fabric and to use it ALL!...Where i didn't at all have a methodically thought or a plan in motion of Ooo...what am i gonna team this with...that's gonna work well with it?....Which i normally have a plan in motion...So its definitely out of character for me, not to...
I mean...Is it just me??...When ever I'm making something, a lot of the times i tend to pre-plan and think can this go with this, this and this??...
Trust me...it wasn't really that deep...I had some left over fabric, just a smidgen and the cape fitted the criteria of...left over fabric to be used...But my! my! my!...Isn't it just having it's moment...The time of it's life...I mean...it doesn't go too bad with the lil ensemble teamed with it...Even if i do say so myself..(Pat on the back then)...
